Local horse racing and the PON XXI Aceh-North Sumatra test Event will be held at the HM Hasan Gayo Arena, Belang Bebangka, Pegasing, Central Aceh, Sunday (8/9/2024) today.
Secretary of Pon Aceh-North Sumatra, Central Aceh Regency, Mahdi SPd said, for the local horse category, the preliminary round was held. With the best horses followed in Tanoh Gayo.
“As for the final, it will still be held on September 11-12. As well as horses, who compete for the pound, equestrian sports, horse racing numbers,” he said.
Meanwhile, for the test event category, the best horses from a number of provinces will compete in PON XXI. Where there are athletes and horses from 11 provinces, who passed the pre PON.
The eleven provinces are West Sumatra, Riau, DKI Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, East Java, Yogyakarta, South Kalimantan and North Sulawesi. As well as Aceh and North Sumatra who qualify automatically, because of the status of the host.
