The QALBY Cup 2024 Horse Racing Championship which was held on Saturday 14 September and Sunday 15 September 2024 at the Karsut Beach racetrack, Kampala Village, Arungkeke District, Jeneponto Regency was successful.
The first horse racing championship was held by a pair of candidates (Paslon) H. Muhammad Sarif-Moch Noer Alim Qalby attracted the attention of fans and participants from various regions.
This horse racing championship features a number of excellent horses both locally and externally competing in several categories, ranging from speed to agility races.
The 2024 QALBY Cup horse racing championship was opened by Cawabup Jeneponto Moch Noer Alim Qalby. The opening was lively, with performances by local artists and entertainment activities that enlivened the atmosphere.
Not only racing, visitors can also enjoy a variety of culinary booths and local products that add to the excitement.
The winners of each category are officially announced at the end of the event, with exciting prizes for the Champions. A horse named Taufik Stable owned by the Jeneponto Police Chief Buser, AIPDA Abd Rasyad, won the overall champion at the QALBY Cup I Horse Racing Championship 2024 in Jeneponto.

In addition, several horses Abd Rasyad also won, such as horse Cahaya Narkoba 1st place in the open race class of 2200 meters, Putra Pegasus 1st place in the open class of 1200 meters, Drogo Nagari 3rd place in the open class of 1600 meters, King Dragon 3rd place in the open class of 1400 meters and Putra Lamongan 3rd place in the inaugural class of 900 meters.
In addition, the QALBY Cup 2024 also emphasizes the importance of animal safety and welfare, with counseling on good and responsible horse care.
The excitement of this event shows the amount of public enthusiasm for horse racing and it is hoped that the QALBY Cup can become an annual agenda that many people look forward to in the future.
While Cawabup Qalby invited the Jeneponto community to enliven the 2024 Qalby Cup horse racing championship in South Sulawesi.
